Always one of my fears around trying to write a book. To tell a basic story, say a love story set in modern day, is relatively easy. At least we all live somewhere, so all the mundane trivial stuff is just there to access, and the storyline is also of a mundane nature. Once you get into any kind of sci-fi, fantasy, magic, mythical, etc., it is now up to the author to develop and integrate some kind of system that is consistent, and hopefully doesn't require you to excessively suspend disbelief. Definitely requires a completely different level of writing.
